Cosmos Kiindarius entered the motion picture industry with the intention of being instrumental in the creation of entertaining and poignant films, similar to those he grew up loving. After six years of being mentored by Leonard Schrader and having the opportunity to work on the sets of David Fincher, JJ Abrams, Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg, Mark Pellington, and several other directors, he embarked on his personal journey of filmmaking.
The opportunity to have worked for, worked with, and learned from several of the greatest living writers and directors in the industry was the catalyst to the successful beginning of his career. Cosmos' first directorial efforts, The Quickie and Family Recipes, have both been recognized internationally and received numerous awards from festivals in Toronto, Houston, Los Angeles, Strasbourg, and ten other international film festivals. Cosmos completed his feature directorial debut, STAND, in 2014, and in 2015 produced Before the Sun Explodes, which premiered at SXSW 2016.
Cosmos is currently developing several projects to direct in both North America and Asia.
